01/07 Action! Making Video Work for You with Kathy Sangha
This lab/workshop will cater to writers and artists, and illustrate hand-on techniques of today’s most popular on-line marketing tools- video! Given that 50% of all Internet searches are for video and that YouTube is the world’s second largest search engine after Google, the benefits of utilizing video in your social media strategies, on-line web presence, promotions and/or trailers are tremendous. Whether you have video experience or not, instructor Kathy Sangha will help you get started with video to build and expand your audience, provide free or low-cost production resources, and have fun with creative marketing of your work. Pre-registered participants will be able to email specific questions (firstname.lastname@example.org) pertaining to their specific projects, and be showcased during the workshop.
Kathy Sangha, a member of the Writer’s Guild of America and San Diego Writer’s Ink, is a co-founder of Sun & Moon Vision Productions (a non-profit documentary and film organization that produces documentaries, media art, and events that educate, inspire change and advance a humanitarian vision) and, Moon River Pictures (a commercial video production company). In addition, she is a 2013 Diversity Workshop Fellow – “The Power of Diversity”- Producer’s Guild of America.
