03/09 Young Writers Fiction Workshop (ages 8-12) with T. Greenwood
Exciting new course for young people!
In this 3-week workshop, writers ages 8-12 will learn the fundamental elements of fiction. We will read stories, engage in class discussions, learn writing techniques and terms, and practice our writing skills while fueling creativity. Students will explore their own imaginations and learn how to shape their ideas into narratives.
No experience necessary!
T. Greenwood is the author of seven novels, including Two Rivers, The Hungry Season, and This Glittering World. Her seventh novel, Grace, was published in April of 2012. She has received grants from the Sherwood Anderson Foundation, the Christopher Isherwood Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Maryland State Arts Council. She lives with her husband and their two daughters in San Diego, where she is also an aspiring photographer.
