03/24 Textbook Writing with Emily Lynch Morissette
Learn the ins and outs of textbook proposal writing with a successful textbook author of two books! This course will focus on the proposal writing: the impetus, organization, pedagogy/andragogy, and competition analysis.
In this course, you will:
o Learn how to craft a textbook proposal,
o Discuss marketing your textbook proposal, and
o Be given a heads up on what to look for in your textbook writing contract!
Methods of Teaching: Lecture, discussion, individual writing, and reading.
Emily Lynch Morissette, Esq. is an attorney, author, and professor whose books include Personal Injury and the Law of Torts for Paralegals, as well as Business Law and Organizations for Paralegals. Emily teaches at the University of San Diego and Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District. She has twenty-two years of experience in the legal industry and is managing partner of her own law firm.
