04/07 Fiction Workshop with Mark Clements — on early Sunday evenings, a superb time!
Join this course to review the basics of fiction writing today!
This workshop is designed to get you started converting the dream of writing into the reality of being a writer.
This fiction course will be “workshop oriented”—focusing on applying what participants have learned and practiced to a new or ongoing piece of their own original work. At the conclusion of the series participants should have a strong sense of the kinds of things you need to do to continue to improve their writing…as well as the tools to actually do it.
Taught by an experienced multi-published novelist and teacher whose read and critique groups at San Diego Writers, Ink, often have wait lists, Fiction Workshop will help participants fast-track their development as a writer, whether they work in fiction only or also other forms.
This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as published authors wanting to generate new work, get back to the basics, work in a new genre, or think about how to teach fiction writing themselves
Mark A. Clements has published three novels and been leading read and critique groups at the Southern California Writer’s Conference since 1989, and at the La Jolla Writer’s Conference since its inception. He believes that the best results come with a group managed with loose reins, humor, and an emphasis on the positive.
