Judy Reeves, author of Wild Women, Wild Voices— Writing from Your Authentic Wildness
Judy Reeves is a writer, teacher, and writing practice provocateur who has written four books on writing, including the recently released Wild Women, Wild Voices and the award-winning A Writer’s Book of Days. Her work has appeared in magazines, literary journals, and anthologies; most recently, Expressive Writing, Classroom and Community. She has edited several anthologies and chapbooks, including those born out of her Wild Women writing workshops, which she has led since 1997.
In addition to leading private writing groups, Judy teaches at University of California San Diego Extension and San Diego Writers, Ink, a nonprofit literary organization she cofounded. She also presents workshops at writing conferences and retreats internationally.

Judy Reeves is a writer, teacher and writing practice provocateur whose books include A Writer’s Book of Days; Writing Alone, Writing Together; A Creative Writer’s Kit and The Writer’s Retreat Kit. Her work has also appeared in the San Diego Reader, The Frozen Moment, A Year in Ink, Vols I and 5 and other anthologies. Two plays, written with a women’s writing ensemble, were produced in the Fritz Blitz. In addition to leading private writing workshops and retreats, Judy teaches at UCSD Extension and speaks at writing conferences internationally. A tenth anniversary Revised Edition of A Writer’s Book of Days won Best Nonfiction in the San Diego Book Awards. Her newest book, Wild Women, Wild Voices, was released in April.
