The best writing comes from a place of truth, and there’s nothing we know better than our own lives and firsthand experiences. In an intensive four-week course, veteran memoir and storyteller coach Justin
Hudnall of So Say We All
challenges and guides an intimate group of writers to refine a piece of short non-fiction into a polished state.
*Please bring a draft of a story to class as the format will be heavy on crit, not generative writing.
Justin Hudnall holds a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, is a PEN America teaching fellow, a recipient of the Creative Catalyst Fellowship and Rising Arts Leader award, and publishes regularly in whatever journals will have him. When not faffing about in the arts, he served with the United Nations in New York and Southern Sudan. He founded and currently serves as the Executive Director of So Say We All, a San Diego based non-profit arts collective that provides opportunities for artistic expression arts education to populations without access.
