10/26: Fall For Writing: Brainstorming: Breaking Free of the Blocks and Creating Content with Kim Keeline
NOTE: ADVANCED REGISTRATION FOR THE CONFERENCE ENDS FRI 10/25 IN THE AFTERNOON.
PLEASE REGISTER AT THE DOOR ON SATURDAY OR SUNDAY FOR THE SAME LOW PRICES.
This session will be part of our FALL FOR WRITING conference. You can register to attend on this page or save money by signing up for UP TO 10 SESSIONS at this link.
This workshop will be hands-on writing time using some different tools, all of which will work for writers of fiction and nonfiction alike. They are all designed to make you create lots of content without critiquing yourself, and to look at topics or plots in new ways. Bring some ideas (or just a feeling of being stuck but wanting to write!) and paper/pen/computer and be prepared to learn some fun techniques for freewriting and breaking through blocks. I’ll teach you some new tools which should help you anywhere in your writing process.
Kim Keeline is a college teacher of 15 years who then went on to be a writer, web designer, and marketing professional. She was once hired by a military contractor for a year to make PowerPoint slides for presentations which were presented to high-level officials in Washington, D.C. In addition, she has presented at numerous academic conferences, as well as local venues like retirement homes on a wide range of topics. She is also the Media, Marketing, and Communications Coordinator here at SDWI, so you may see her around at events–come say hi!
