This small, ongoing group invites memoirists to come together for writing and support as we work through our drafts.

During our weekly sessions we’ll discuss our work—its challenges and its gifts. We’ll have opportunities to read our work aloud, asking for critique or response, or simply to hear our voice and the voice of the story. We’ll also work together to set goals, track our progress, and ask for help when we need it. Occasionally, we may also set aside a brief time for writing in group. This is a small, ongoing group and participants must be willing to commit to weekly meetings and supporting other group members.

Writers with some experience in writing memoir or other narrative prose (fiction or nonfiction), and who have previously participated in writing groups are invited to submit up to five pages of their current project to Judy Reeves via email attachment in Word or pdf format.
