Scrivener

NEW DATE!  Scrivener is writing software (for Mac or PC) which helps keep you organized and on track. Switch between outline/writing/photos/research and keep everything together. A unique tagging system, backups (and the ability to compare between past versions and the current version of a draft), and a simple but powerful interface makes it one of the best ways to write a novel or any long piece of writing, particularly one with notes, research, or complex ideas.

This  workshop will introduce you to all the features and help you start using Scrivener for your writing project. You can download a free trial version for the purpose of this course:  https://www.literatureandlatte.com/scrivener.php

SESSION 1:  Intro to Scrivener:  Much like the session at Fall for Writing in September, this will review the three main parts of Scrivener and how to use them.  Absolutely necessary for the beginner, this class will show you what you need to know to make Scrivener work for you, including importing your texts.

SESSION 2:  Tips/Advanced Scrivener:  Learn more about Collections, Search Features, and other interesting extras inside of Scrivener.  Get more info on the parts from Session 1.  We’ll also have time to answer some personalized questions from problems you’ve had with Scrivener.

Save Money by Doing Both Sessions:  Sign up with Buy Now Buttons Above and Save Money.  But you can also take just one session!  If you just want the advanced tips, feel free to go straight to Session 2.
