This introductory-level course is designed to give attendees the tools necessary to begin writing their first (or next) short or feature-length screenplay. There is no need to bring script pages or ideas, just bring a pen and paper and come ready to learn! We will tackle structure, character, outlining, choosing a concept, formatting (to make your script look like the pros) and much more!

All with a little bit of Hollywood insight along the way!

Martin Gomez is a film and television writer from Los Angeles, CA. He received his bachelors degree in screenwriting from Cal State University, Northridge. To date, he has written nearly a dozen feature-length screenplays, created two television shows, and has written over twenty short films, many of which have been produced. His projects have placed in several of the top international screenwriting competitions and his recently optioned feature-length supernatural thriller, FIRE IN THE WALLS, is in development and hopes to go into production by the end of the year.
