PostSecret Street Team: From the San Diego Museum of Man

In preparation for the San Diego Museum of Man’s new exhibit, PostSecret, our PostSecret Street Team will be hosting “pop-up” postcard-making stations throughout San Diego County over the next six months to collect and share San Diego’s secrets in the exhibit! On Friday, February 2 from 5pm to 8pm we’ll be at the Ink Spot in the ARTS DISTRICT of Liberty Station for the First Friday Open House event. Come meet our street team, make a postcard, and learn more about the exhibit! Check our calendar of events for updates on where the PostSecret Street Team will be next.

More about the Exhibit:

Our PostSecret exhibit, which opens April 14, 2018, is inspired by the ongoing community art project, PostSecret.

PostSecret, which started in 2004, invites participants to anonymously write their secrets on handmade postcards. They mail the artful cards to PostSecret creator Frank Warren, and each week he selects and arranges a composition of secrets for his award-winning blog. To date, the project has received over a million submissions, some of which have been displayed at the White House and featured in six best-selling books. Warren is working with the San Diego Museum of Man to create a new exhibit featuring postcards collected in San Diego, across the country, and around the world.
