07/20 Pen Center USA Emerging Voices Fellowship Info Session with Elle Brooks
You could be the next PEN Center USA Emerging Voices Fellow!
Do you dream of a literary career?
Would you like to have one-on-one mentoring with a professional writer?
Would you like to read your work at exciting venues within Los Angeles’ vibrant literary community?
Have you ever wanted to ask a publish author questions about their book, their process and their road to success?
Do you feel behind the pack because you don’t have an MFA?
Are you looking to take your writing to the next level?
Join Elle Brooks for an inspiring discussion on her experience as one of six writers chosen for the 2013 PEN Center USA Emerging Voices Fellowship. Elle will talk about whether the EV Fellowship is right for you, the best way to approach the current application (Deadline: August 12th, 2013), what the judging panel is looking for, the application process, and what to expect if you are chosen. A Q&A session will follow. Let’s start a new tradition by having a San Diego presence in this coveted fellowship every year!
