SDW, Ink Anthology
--Thomas Larson, Editor
Call for Submissions
We want your best poems, stories, essays, novel and memoir excerpts — things you've written in our classes and workshops, or read at First Friday — anything you've created in connection with SDW, Ink. Maybe you took one of our classes and wrote a fabulous poem or you attended a workshop that inspired a short story. Maybe you had a great idea on the way home from the Monday night Salon or our annual membership meeting and a finished piece emerged from that spark of an idea. If you haven't had a chance to attend of our classes or events, do it now. Support SDW, Ink by becoming a member and submit your work for our first Anthology.
The Anthology will be published mid-December, just in time for you know what.
Submission Criteria:
Poetry: Submit up to five poems, single-spaced on plain paper in generic font. Maximum 35 lines per poem.
Prose: Submit fiction, creative nonfiction, and memoir and novel excerpts, double-spaced on plain paper in generic font. Maximum 3,000 words; no more than two entries.
All Entries: Submit published or unpublished work. Do NOT place your name on the actual entries. Manuscripts will be recycled. All entries must be postmarked by August 1, 2007. Send a cover letter with your name, address, phone number, email address, and title of each piece submitted to:
