Everything You Need to Know about Being a Copywriter But Were Too Busy to Ask

Beth is back for another great class!

Many part-time writers dream of quitting their day jobs to do what they love full time. Join Author Beth Ziesenis for two-part workshop to learn what it really takes to start your own freelance copywriting business.

Part one covers the types of writing a copywriter might tackle, ways to build your portfolio and how to find clients. The second session includes many tech tools and tips to get your business off the ground without spending a fortune on software and equipment. Beth Ziesenis, Your Nerdy Best Friend, left the world of sales in 2007 to start her own freelance copywriting business, Avenue Z Writing Solutions. Her experiences, lessons learned and outright failures were documented weekly in her blog, “Life on Avenue Z: The Trials and Tribulations of a New Freelance Copywriter,” an honest account of building her own business from scratch. Beth inspired several blog followers to try full-time freelancing, and she shares her small business tips with budding entrepreneurs over coffee and cupcakes, when invited. In 2011, Beth officially took down her copywriting sign to become a full-time author and speaker. But that’s a different story….
