Blazing Laptops by Carlos de los Rios

I am a film and book writer (and teacher) who sees Blazing Laptops as a wonderful way to support an arts group that couldn’t be more deserving.

SD Writers, Ink, the organization behind the event, is a rare thing indeed: it is a friend to the arts and artists in San Diego. This town owes SD Writers, Ink a real debt of gratitude for continually opening doors to the education and promotion of writers and artists in Southern California. I love how they help writers of all types, working in all genres; from poets and novelists to memoirists and screenwriters. Very few cities have patrons of the arts that ask for so little in return. These arts angels simply give, give and give.

That is why I am proud to be part of this event. I know a good thing when I see it and making SD Writers, Ink a more supported organization is only what is right. Plus this is going to be one fun event, to boot!
