Community Calendar

In the spirit of fulfilling our mission to foster a literary community, promote literature and celebrate artistic diversity, SDW, Ink is pleased to provide a Community Calendar. We hope to further serve writers, teachers, and literary-minded folk by creating an easy-to-use listing of local literary events. We invite you to send us announcements of readings, classes and workshops, ongoing groups, and other special events.

Here’s the small print stuff:
Events are listed in chronological order within each category. SDW, Ink assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided to us nor does inclusion in the calendar imply SDW, Ink’s endorsement of the event. 

Deadline for consideration is the 20th of each month. Listings may be posted two months in advance of the event. Submissions received after the 20th or with insufficient information may not be included. Listings are posted at the discretion of SDW, Ink.   

Please us the follow format for submissions:

• type of event – if necessary, a brief description
• day/date
• time
• location – with exact address
• cost
• contact info and/or website

Let us know in which of the following categories to post your listing:

• readings
• classes/workshops
• ongoing groups
• writing conferences
• special events
• calls for submission
• volunteer opportunities (ie. adult tutoring, mentoring, etc.)
