Did you read Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys, the Bobbsey Twins, the Happy Hollisters, Tom Swift, or other series books as a kid?  Did you know that all the ones I mentioned above were created by one man? It’s true.  One man created all of those series (and many more!) and was one of the most influential writers of the early 20th century, encouraging children to read and shaping their lives through children’s books.  And yet he is virtually unknown today....

1st Fridays: Friday Night Liberty Open House (Free get together)

As part of Friday Night Liberty (a monthly event at Liberty Station), we hold an open house from 5-8pm on the first Friday of every month. It is a time to see the artwork on our walls, talk to fellow writers, snack on a few treats, and hang out at the Ink Spot.  Also, check out our neighbors.  The whole NTC arts area of Liberty Station comes alive with museums, galleries, dance studios, and artist studios opening their doors.  There is plenty of music and free food...
