03/23 Conflict, Tension, and “Black Moments” with Lisa Kessler
Master conflict in your stories with this one day workshop!
In this one-day workshop, we will study “black moments” in well-known fiction and films, and then study your story ideas to craft a black moment that has your readers turning pages and holding their breath, hoping the heroes will earn that happily ever after.
This will be a hands-on class with lively discussion and feedback on your work in progress or maybe a finished work that needs more impact at the end. Beginners and those without work are welcome, however! For all writers at all stages, we will raise the stakes and make the black moment in your writing something your readers will remember long after they finish your tale.
