Here’s the afore-promised updates:

Option #1

Ely at Blazing Laptops 2010

SDWI will be coordinating a group to take the train up. Group will leave Saturday, April 30 at 7:05am on the Pacific Surfliner #565 from the downtown train station. Super volunteer, Ely Rareshide, will be there that morning to rangle the crew to sit together. Look for her in her fancy, schmancy SDWI t-shirt.

All are responsible for purchasing their own tickets. You can purchase your tickets ahead of time (recommended) here. To purchase choose San Diego, CA (SAN) as originating station and Los Angeles, CA (LAX) as destination. Tickets cost $31 one-way. Triple A members receive a 10% discount.

This train will arrive at LAX/Union Station at 9:50am. The Festival is hosting a shuttle which will run back and forth from the Station to the Festival every 30 minutes.

The festival ends at 6pm. To return home, there are several buses, depending on when you want to leave. Some folks may want to head straight home, while others may want to grab dinner in LA. Here are your train options:
