Date: Saturday, May 28th Time: 1pm-5pm Number of sessions: 1-ONE DAY CLASS! Members: $70 Nonmembers: $82 Location: The Inkspot, 710 13th St, Ste 210, San Diego, CA 92101

Want to really get to know those strange characters who occupy your stories?

This process workshop will give you the opportunity to get acquainted with your characters in ways you may never have explored before. And if you don’t already have a character, we’ll spend some time developing one! Includes guided imagery techniques, character interviews, writing exercises, read-arounds, and on-the-spot critiquing of the work you produce that day.

If you’re already working on a character or characters, bring them along too!

Laura Preble has published three young adult novels (Queen Geek Social Club, Queen Geeks in Love, Prom Queen Geeks) with Penguin/Berkley Jam.
