A read and critique group should be neither a mob nor a drumming circle. It should be a bunch of individuals, with all their quirks and preferences intact, speaking their minds in a productive manner. Consensus is not the goal. Assault is not the goal. Learning what another writer is trying to accomplish and helping him or her accomplish it . . . that's the goal. Discovering perspectives—both in yourself and in others--that will help you fulfill your own intentions as a writer . . . that's the goal. This group will be limited in size but not in scope or content. Whatever you're writing, and whatever your level of experience, you're welcome to sign up. This is an ongoing read & critique group with limited registration. Members pay monthly for their ongoing participation. Currently there is a wait list for this group.
