Lilly Ghahremani • Queries, cover letters, nonfiction proposals; how to market a project
Lilly Ghahremani is an attorney and literary agent. She co-founded Full Circle Literary in 2004. Lilly enjoys reading literary fiction but mostly limits her representation to a wide range of nonfiction (how-to, relationships, parenting, lifestyle, business, humor, etc.) as well as YA and middle grade. Books by an expert sharing their knowledge in an engaging way are her specialty. A sampling of some of her projects include Jonathan Yang's The Rough Guide to Blogging (Penguin UK), Jack Mauro's M4M: The Gay Man’s Guide to Love, Lust, or Just “Hanging Out” Online (Simon Spotlight), Elisabeth Squires' bOObs: A Guide to Your Girls (Seal Press), Meg Mateo Ilasco's Craft, Inc. (Chronicle Books) and Isabel Cruz's Isabel's Cantina (ClarksonPotter). Lilly particularly enjoys books about pop culture, crafts, the rest of the world (with a soft spot for the Middle East), music and the performing arts, and topics that connect with a female readership.
