Room to Write NOTE: No Room to Write Sunday, July 4th. But we will open our doors Sundays, July 11 & 18. Join us. Sometimes the kitchen table just won’t do. One of a writer’s biggest challenges is finding the time and space to write — and we’re pleased to announce Room to Write, a free program that dedicates quiet time at the Ink Spot for SDW, Ink members. Bring a laptop or notebook, your muse, and enjoy a quiet, comfortable place to do your work in the company of other (silent) writers. If you're not already an SDW, Ink member, join today and become eligible for Room to Write. Nicole Vollrath hosts Room to Write, with other volunteers occasionally sitting in.

Nicole Vollrath, MFA, earned her master’s degree in creative writing at Emerson College in Boston. She served as prose editor for the literary journal Beacon Street Review, director of Phone-A-Poem, and as a reader for Ploughshares and Agni. She has published articles, book reviews and won several awards for her short fiction.
Scott Barbour is a freelance writer and editor who is a member of San Diego Writers, Ink, and a regular at Thursday Writers.
