A Poetry Open Mic with the flavor of San Diego's original Poetic Brew, set in the warm and friendly venue of Rebecca's Coffeehouse in South Park and hosted by the warm and friendly Eber Lambert. Read up to 3 poems or for 3 minutes and 33 seconds. There's sure to be some of your favorite locals reading, plus a different feature poet each month. So bring your good stuff and take the Open Mic stage.
Stay tuned for the Poetic Brew webpage where we plan to post selected readings recorded each month at the Open Mic. MySpace users should befriend the New Poetic Brew MySpace page to stay in touch and network with fellow poets.

Host: Eber Lambert

Eber Lambert was born in Outer Mongolia before being sublimated and reissued in Hinesburg, Vermont in the mid 1960s. He began writing disturbed poetry and prose much to the chagrin of his writing teachers. So he has written strictly as a creative outlet for 25 years while working in high tech and raising a family. Since 2002 he's enjoyed the San Diego Open Mic scene and is very excited about reviving the creative vibe of Poetic Brew.
