Night and Day/Day and Night . . . anytime is a good time for writing and we’ll be doing it all day long at our annual Summer Writing Marathon, a writing extravaganza that’s guaranteed to get the ink flowing and the ideas exploding. We’ll do timed focused writing to prompts, exercises with props, free-for-alls, and who knows what other sort of creative madness.
Marathons are open to all writers, no experience necessary. Bring your notebook and a friend and join a cookin’ bunch of writers at The Ink Spot. Space is limited so register early.
Judy Reeves, writer, teacher and writing practice provocateur created the classic Writing Marathon in 1994 and has been instigator and leader of a score of such lively gatherings since. She’s published four books on the craft, including A Writer’s Book of Days and The Writer’s Retreat Kit. She teaches creative writing at UCSD Extension and SDW, Ink and at writing conferences internationally. Judy serves as Executive Director of San Diego Writers, Ink.
