Robin Tung teaches Crafting the Short Story
Crafting the Short Story
“I love short stories because they are the way we live. They are what our friends tell us, in their pain and joy, their passion and rage, their yearning and their cry against injustice.”
Do you have a story you’d like to finish? Do you want to start a new story with some feedback and guidance? Crafting the Short Story is a four-week class where you will work towards completing a polished short story.
The class will provide writers numerous opportunities to explore fiction (in writing and reading) with special attention on structure, language, imagery, and voice.
You will also receive practical information on how to write a cover letter and/or submit to literary magazines.
Robin Tung received her MFA in fiction from Johns Hopkins University where she taught and created courses for The Writing Seminars. She is a recipient of the Milton A. Saier Award for Fiction as well as a recent Pushcart Prize nominee. Her stories and poems have been published in NANO Fiction, The Labletter, and Sugar House Review among others.
