Fiction Workshop: Structure
How do we structure or organize our stories? How much scene or exposition should we use? And how do we follow one event in the narrative with the next?
Carefully structuring a story can build suspense, manipulate time, and create a rewarding sense of ending. In this 5-week workshop we will focus primarily on shaping fiction to set up characters, build tension, and answer the questions we raise in our stories.
Beginners and advanced students welcome.
