Introduction to Fiction
How do we begin writing fiction? What are the fundamental elements of good writing? Introduction to Fiction will explore how to create character, plot, imagery, and language. Students will be provided with lecture, writing exercises, and short readings in order to strengthen creative writing skills.
This class suitable for beginners and experienced writers. In addition, students who have taken classes with Robin are welcome to sign up as the class content and exercises change with each class.
Robin Tung earned her MFA from Johns Hopkins University and is a recipient of the Milton A. Saier Award and a recent Pushcart nominee. Her work appears or is forthcoming in INK Magazine, The Labletter, The Montreal Review, NANO Fiction, Sugar House Review, and Valparaiso Poetry Review.
