Sheila’s passion is helping those who want to break their writing out into new forms, revise effectively, generate more writing or facilitate the writing of others.

Join us for a weekend of creative writing from flash fiction and sudden nonfiction to personal essay and poetry. You’ll fill a notebook with starts and Sheila will help you shape those starts into fuller pieces (or, if you have a piece of writing you are already working on bring it!) using a special, author empowering response method that guides you with information on how your writing affects its readers and listeners.

In one weekend, you will receive a jumpstart and bring your writing to a new level while learning how to give and receive the kind of response that helps writers (including you!) write.

New and experienced writers and all genres welcome!

Feel free to bring your lunch, there is also an Albertson’s and Peet’s Coffee across the street.

Sheila Bender is the author of over ten books on writing as well as two collections of poetry and a memoir.
