Take the Leap!

Whether you are writing journal entries, scribbling on the backs of envelopes, have loaded computer files with starts and passages, created poems you think might become longer work, or finished drafts you feel are not yet going anywhere yet, you’ll enjoy learning how to mine what you have written for the images and moments that can offer you entrance into a finished piece.

In this class, we will work with your starts and drafts and also from scratch with in-class exercises to help you use the structures of personal essays to find routes toward finished personal essays.

Join us for a day of exploring, shaping, and developing the writing you do from personal experience.
