T. Greenwood teaches So You Want to Write a Novel
Our popular and beloved instructor is back!
So you’ve finally decided to write that novel you’ve been talking about for years?
This one day workshop will help you understand the process of writing a novel so you can get started putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard). We will focus on everything from generating ideas to developing characters to devising your plot. We will touch on many elements of fiction (dialogue, scene, etc…), but the emphasis will be on discovering the writing process that works best for you.

T. Greenwood is the author of six novels. She has received grants from the Sherwood Anderson Foundation, the Christopher Isherwood Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and, most recently, the Maryland State Arts Council. Two Rivers was named Best General Fiction Book at the San Diego Book Awards last year. Four of her novels have been BookSense76/IndieBound picks;This Glittering World is a January 2011 selection.
She teaches creative writing at both UCSD’s Extension Program and at The Ink Spot. She and her husband, Patrick, live in San Diego, CA with their two daughters. She is also an aspiring photographer.
