Writing Flash Fiction is for anyone who wants to write in the short short form: 250 to 1,000 words. We will focus on the heart of your story, narrative, line-by-line editing, imagery, and language. This workshop offers craft lectures, group discussions, many opportunities to workshop, and readings by Amy Hempel, Stuart Dybek, and Molly Giles among others.

Our goal will be to complete 2-4 polished pieces of flash fiction that are submission-ready.

Robin Tung received her MFA in fiction from Johns Hopkins University where she taught and created courses for The Writing Seminars. She is a recipient of the Milton A. Saier Award for Fiction as well as a recent Pushcart Prize nominee. Her stories and poems have been published in NANO Fiction, The Labletter, and Sugar House Review among others.
